GUARD’S DEATH. fPuB Press Association.] ■■ "I TAUMARUNUI. October 29. Tho guard, William B. Duncan, who toiron the Taumarunui platform yesterday in an apoplectic fit, died in the hospital at 930 last night. His wife arrived by the night express from Auckland, but Duncan was then nnconscious. Deceased was forty-eight years of age, and had one child. Ho was popular in the service. The body Will be removed to Auckland for burial.
