A message from Paris says that microbes 100,000 years old. yet .still living and active organisms, have’ been di£ covered by Dr Galippe, a French savant, in the fossils of prehistoric animals, according t 0 a statement made by. him at tho French Academy of Science. Dr .Galippe declared also that not only limestone, but even quartz, fossils,. contained living microscopical' organisms which had been there for thousands of centuries.
