Commander Cope has announced that the British Imperial Polar Expedition to the Antarctic will leave Norfolk, Virginia, for Monte Video, on October 29, going from there to Wellington Island, Patagonia. The expedition will particularly study the influence of Antarctic conditions upon AuaU’ulw and South Africa.
