As tho result of'tho agitations of extremists, students in the various educational centres are attempting to turn the colleges into national organi salons under the Khalifat Committee. Several hundred students have resigned from tho colleges, and at Lahore a thousand made a demonstration urging all students in India, to resign. The police are taking measures to guard Government property. The movement is disorganising educational work throughout the country. RAID ON BRITISH CAMP. ULTIMATUM TO TRIBESMEN Reuter’s Telegrams. (Received October 28, 10.20 a.m.) DELHI, October 26. Ono hundred and fifty War,in tribesmen raided the Knmar Bridge camp, on tho Gandola Road, and rifled stores. In beating off tho raiders the British suffered sixteen casualties. The raiders left one dead. Having settled tho Mahsud trouble the Indian Government has sent terms to tho Wanawaziri tribesmen, who actually assisted Afghanistan in the last war. The terms include a fine of £SOOO and the surrender of tribal rifles, the right to locate troops, and to build posts and roads in the Wuna country. Tho tribes are allowed a month in which to reply to the ultimatum.
