A fancy dress hall was held ip. tho railway goods shed, Lauriston, on Thursday evening. The building was gaily decorated with flags, bunting and lloweis. Alany very effective costumes were worn. Airs W. Goodwin, who was dressed as an Indian Squaw, wou the prize for the best lady’s' costuw while the prize for the best gentlemanV. costume was awarded to Air R. Alaidens, representing tho local store. Others m fancy costumes weroAlesdames Hickman (Nurse), Douglas (Indian G. ), tray (Topsy), Air and Airs Prebble (Darby and Joan), Alisses Alexander (Rumania), Bryant (Wild Most Cowgirl), Cunningham (RusBian Peasant), Daly (Queen of Hearts), il. Daly (Peace), V. Goodwin (Swiss leasant), W. Goodwin (Pierrette), N. Goodwin (Aviation), M. Hinckman (.Jockey GuT), AI. Ala idens (Quakeress), E Maidens (Folly), D. Norrish (Shamwfm’ (Good Luck), ‘ I. AiPhad (Ivy Leaf), R. Smith (Pcnsant) AieSsrs R. J. Crothers (Mikado), H. Crothers (Pierrot), A. Goodwin (Swagger), T. Gray (King’s Courtier), A.
