M’Douald), while the works, at Mil--burn, in Otago, are engaged at fulf capacity, the North Island works are severely handicapped by a shortage of coal, a factor that is also restricting die output ot bneivs. Shippings delays are interfering with the transport of timber from the West Coast to Lyttelton, but efforts are being made to improve matters.
