Tho poundkeeper of the Southbridge town Board notified members at the last meeting of the board that he had impounded a horse which had not been claimed, that the animal had been offered for sale, and that it realised only one shilling. He stated, further, that ho was £2 out of pocket over tho business, and wished to know how he was to be recouped. The board decided to ask the police to assist in finding the owner, so that the amount could bo recovered from him.
