CHRISTCHURCH GOLF CLUB CONVERSAZIONE.

In between much chatter several musical items were given, Mrs John Guthrie playing a ’cello solo, Mrs Gower-Burns and Mr Bernard Wood each contributing vocal items, Mrs Russell playing the accompaniments, after which the guests were free to dance or play cards. The ballroom was simply decorated with green streamers arranged crosswise'overhead, intermingled with bunches of pink blossom, the permanent gallery, arranged as a lounge, being gaily decorated ' with cinerarias.
