PREVALENCE OF GOITRE.
MANY CASES IN CHRISTCHURCH SCHOOLS'. Investigations carried on by the District Health Office in Oliristchurch into the prevalence of Goitre shows that a considerable percentage of the pupils attending the schools in this city are affected by the disease. Goitre is not only unsightly, it is dangerous, and the Government have now made a special grant of £SOO for the purpose of investigating its causes etc. ' In Oliristchurch t'he disease is boine successfully treated by the Medico" Electric Institute, 146, Armagh Street. Innumerable cases of goitre have been oured at this institution without any operation by the safe and painless lonization treatment, and we would advise all those suffering from the disease to call at this institution and take sd vantage of the treatment which has benefited so manv. 7
