Japanese circles declare that the Japanese Ambassador, Mr IC, Shidohara, intends to demand that the - Edited States Federal Government .shall prevent the passage of tho proposed Californian law prohibiting Jananeso from holding laud, otherwise Japan will refuse to negotiate about the Chinese open door, which Mr Colby, Secretary of State, desires to discuss. Mr Shidchgra is prepared to accept tho prohibition of further Japanese immigration to America, if the Japanese now hero are given normal rights.
