ECHO OF MUNITION EXPLOSIONS. VANCOUVER, August 23. The case of Dr Paul Alterdorf, who reached Juarez, on the Mexican border, to-day, is claiming much official attention. Ho claims United States citizenship, and says that ho acted for the American secret service in Mexico during the world war. He was brought to the border hv Mexican officials, who said ho was deported as a pernicious foreigner. Alterdorf asserted that while representing United States insurance companies he discovered a German in Mexico whose name he gave to the [ officials. This German, he states perpetrated the Kingston Island and lil'icktom munition explosions early in 1917 when property valued at many millions was destroyed and several lives were lost.
