THE WINNIE OLSEN CASE. [Pee Press Association.] WELLINGTON, August 23. Winnie Olsen was awarded £IOO9 damages for tho loss of her son. Albert. Olsen, a telegraph linesman, who wua electrocuted while erecting a telephone lino on Tiuakori Hill. Tho Crown moved for a new trial on tho ground that the verdict was against tho weight of evidence apd that the damages wore, excessive.
