OTHER INFECTIOUS DISEASES NORMAL,
During the week ending noon to-day Idß arses of measles were reported to !ho district health officer from North (jnuterbury. Only olio case was ro. ported from, Ashburton during the veeck, but 21 oases wero reported from Bouth Canterbury. No fresh cases wore reported from the West Coast. In the previous week 08 cases wore reported from North Canterbury and 39 from South Canterbury. The following cases of infectious diseases otner than measles were reported during the week that ended to-day North Canterbury—Scarlet fever 1, diphtheria, 3. enteric 4. tuberculosis 11. pneumonia. 25, pneumonic influenza 3. erysipelas 1. South Canterbury—-Scarlet fever 2. diphtheria. 5, varicella. 1. Inaiip-ahua—Diuhtheria 1. Iho total number of infectious diseases reported in tiro whole health dii*. tnct during the week was 237.
