The Minister of Public Works informed the t/interhury parliamentary deputation to-day that the nolicy lie was recommending was tho setting up of a separate branch of tho Public Works Department to take in hand tho constructional section of the work in connection with hydro-elcctricity. He also proposes that the sale of electrical fluid should bo under the control of a business committee to be set up, which would handle, the mailer from a commercial point of view. He was doing everything possible to expedite tho preparation of (estimates and plans so that the machinery could he ordered and the works put in hand.
