THE MILLERS’ SECTION, RESIGNATION OF MR CORSON. Mr F. R. Corson, a member of the millers’ section of the Wheat Trade Committee, has resigned from the commit teo. The resignation mas sent to the Wheat Controller’s office in Christchurch yesterday. The Controller, Mr W. G. M’Donald. is in AVclJington. He has been informed of Mr Corson’s action, and the resignation mill be considered by him on his return to Christ, church. Mr Corson and Mr A. AV. ,Smith, Assistant Wheat Controller, have declined to state the reasons lor tho resignation, which has given colour to an opinion that there are strong differences of opinion between members of tho committee and the AAlmat Controller as to the near future. Mr Corson, mho is very well known in milling circles in all parts of New Zealand, is an experienced and valuable member of the committee. A wish is expressed by those interested in the industry that ho will reconsider his decision.
