A i: request programme” was gives at St Luke’s Church on Saturday evening. It was perhaps the most'enjoyable, so far, of the series of recitals being given by Dr Bradshaw. The pieces chosen included Mendelssohn’s Sixth Sonata, the tone poani “Finlandia,” Allegro Vivace from Widow's Fifth Organ Symphony, and the Vorspiel to “Parsifal” (Wagner). Other numbers consisted of the “Love Song” from “ The Tempest” (Tauber t), variation? on the Bells of Dunkerque (Carter) and “The Question” and “The Answer” (Wosicnholme). Three numbers from Grieg’s “Peer Gynt” suite concluded an excellent recital.
