SATURDAY S " STAR.” NOTICE TO ADVERTISERS, OWING to the great popularity of the Saturday issue of the “Star” and the consequent heavy demand for advertising space, the Proprietors are compelled to appeal to Advertisers to hand in their copy earlier in the week, It is impossible under existing conditions to handle the mass of Advertisements tendered on Saturday mornings. DODDLE RATES Will be charged for all Advertisements tendered on Saturdays for publication the same day, ahd even at double rates publication cannot be guaranteed. Copy for Display Advertisements and change of copy for Contract Advertisements must be bonded in before 2 p.m, on Thursdays.
