The engine-drivers have decided to accept, the proposals made by the Chamber of Manufacturers to resume work on Tuesday. A round tabic conference between the union and the Chamber will sit immediately to determine the question of wages. Negotiations between the gasworkers and the employers failed, the men refusing to give way in the slightest.
