Twenty-six Sinn Fciners, including two members of the House of Gorninous, in Londonderry Gaol, were removed to Wormwood Scrubbs prison under a strong military escort. Detective Dalton was fatally shot at midday in a Dublin street. The case resembles that of Kells, who was shot on April 11- Nobody, apparently, witnessed the murder, in which, it is believed! six persons were concerned. Four persons were seen hastening from tho scene- Dalton died in hospital after the Sacrament had teen administered in the street.
