Alpers), who sought a dissolution of her marriage with Bertram Bunn, of Kaikohe. on the grounds of adultery, a decree nisi, to be made absolute in three months, was granted, petitioner to have the custody of the children. Alfred Edward Husband, storeman, of Christchurch (Mr F. D. Siirgcut). applied for a divorce from Minnie Rosa Husband, Eketabuna, on the grounds of desertion.. A decree nisi was granted Desertion was the ground upon which Frederick Henry Bowley proceeded tor to. 4' vorra from Idola Victoria Alary Bowley, A decree nisi was granted. * Samuel Brewer (Mr H, S. J. Goodman)- petitioned for a divorce from Netlie Maud Brewer, of Christchurch, because of desertion. A decree nisi was granted. Charles Brocklebank (Mr E. E. Papprill) sought a divorce from Louisa Alatilda Brocklebank, of Levin, on tne grounds of desertion. A decree nisi was was granted. Walter Colcnso (Air C. S. T., J- Alpers),' who was married on March 9) laid, sought a dissolution of his marriage with Isobel Hansen, on the grounds of desertion. A decree nisi was granted. Elsie May Giles, of Sproydon (Mr 0. T. J Alpers) .proceeded for a divorce from W'illianr’M'Cormack Giles, on tho ground of desertion. The parties were married in 1913, and there was one child of the marriage. A decree nisi was granted. In the petition of Ivy Emily Stewart (Air G. T. AVeston) against Robert Al Gregor Stewart, of Wellington, for a divorce, on the grounds of adultery, a decree nisi was granted. A suit tor divorce, on the grounds of adultery, was preferred bv Frederick James Savill, St Helens. Hanmer Springs, against Daisy Isobel Savill, Henry Ryder Hawkins was mentioned as co-respondent. The marriage took place on Alareh 22, 1903. and there were three children. On April 30. 1919.. the husband went to England, and returned on; November 1. Soon afterwards the wife left for England with the corespondent. After evidence had been given by the petitioner, James Crosbv Wallace, bookkeeper at St Helens Station. and Bert Alunns, private inquiry agent, of Wellington, his Honor granted' a decree nisi, to be made absolute in three months. JUDICIAL SEPARATION GRANTED. His Honor gave judgment in an application by Wilhelmina Theresa . AlillV km for judicial separation from her husha James Millikin, innholder, Flock Hill. His Honor held that for w husband, whose adultery has been condoned, to expel his wife from home and. refuse her admittance again for nine months, was to commit a breach ot the duty that condonation involved. He had deserted, her and, in the circumstances disclosed in the present case, she was, m his Honor’s opinion, entitled to a, decree for indicia! separa - tion. The petitioner relied also upon cruelty reviving the condoned adultery but, having regard to the conclusion which he had come to about the effect of respondent’s desertion of his wife upon his previous conduct, it was not necessary to consider whether his conduct amounted to such cruelty as would revive the condoned misconduct TV petitioner would have her decree absohue. Lasts would be allowed on tho higher scale.
