In the final game, played on a much flower rink, both men were at sea, at first. T.rfxin was the fuel to feel the strength, and from then on ho never really lost it. At the sixth head tho score-was 5-3 in Tonkin's favour. In the next head, with five bowls down. Anderson lay close to the jack but Tonkin drew the white nw«v ami kept it. adding another with his last'bowl. In tho eighth head Tonkin was iving o. when Anderson raked successfully, but the" kitty hung to Tonkin’s bowl, and he added another -9-3. In the next head Tonkin added 3 and Anderson responded with a, single ami a brace—C 19. At tho twelfth head Anderson was lying, hut Tonkin placed one just behind the jack. Anderson clrovo unsuccessfully, and afterwards failed to get near tho white, Tonkin adding 3 IG-0. On the thirteenth head Anderson was lying 2. but Tonkin drove and burnt the' head. In a very good head following Anderson drew 2, and in tho following head not another—9-IC. On the' fifteenth head Tonkin lay 2. when Anderson burnt tho head, and then scored another ainpfle. On the sixteenth head Tonkin scored a brace, to which Anderson replied with a similar score. On the eighteenth head Tonkin again scored 2. and added another in tho next head, making it impossible for Anderson to win, tho tally finishing 21.-12.
