PRICE OF ONIONS.
A matting of the Marshland Onion Growers’ Association was held last evening. There was a very large attendance. and Mr M J. Walter was voted to the chair, The executive reported the results of its deliberations with the onion merchants. After considerable discussion it was unanimously resolved to adhere to the decision of the last faceting to ask for a minimum of as the opening price of the season for spring onions. Deputations were an pointed to visit next dav the onion growers in the {lnkwell. LadbrooksPrebbleton. Yaldburst, ITarewood’ Papanui, Belfast and Kainnoi district in support of the association's demand.
