INVERCARGILL PROPOSITION
[Per Press Association. ] INVERCARGILL, February 20. A public, meeting resolved to'erect a soldiers’ memorial, costing not less than £10,000: that the cost should bo borne by the citizens in their corporate capacity, and that the council should be asked to obtain whatever powers were necessary to carry this out.
