The Moeraki was expected in Wellington from Sydney yesterday with 380 passengers and 1800 tons of Sydney cargo. Tho vessel is timed to leave for Sydney to-morrow. The R.M.S. Moana is expected to leave Wellington on Sgturday next for San Francisco, via ports. The Kokiri will leave Lyttelton to-day lor Ureynitfuth ou finishing her discha-rgo of coal. The Kqwhai will be dispatched for Wellington with general cargo this evening. From the latter port she will proceed to Grevffiouth. The Waitomo, hom Calcutta and Singapore. is duo at Dunedin to-morrow, and is expected in Lyttelton on Tuesday next. The Kamo is duo from Greymouth to-mor-row with a cargo of coal and timber. The To Anau should be at Timaru to-day, and is due here to-morrow morning to load fer Napier and Gisborne. The Kurow is expected to sail for Wellington and Newcastle to-morrow. The Liberty finished'her unloading of New Y6rk caryo at Lyttelton yesterday, and sailed for Dunedin last evening. The Orepuki, from Greymouth, should arrive hero to-morrow with a cargo of timber. The John, from Tarakohe, via Wellington, is duo hero on Friday, laden with cement and general cargo. To-morrow is the anniversary of the wreck of the Union Company’s steamer Penguin in Cook Strait whilst on tho run from Picton to Wellington, seventy-five lives being lost. , Tbo Ruapehu, which left yesterday morning for Dunedin,, will return to Lyttelton next week to load frozen meat and wool for London. Wellington will be her final port w call, and she will loavo about March 2 for London, via Panama, The Now (Zealand Shipping Company’s Orftru from St John. New Brunswick, is due .at Auckland about March 2 with general cargo from East Canadian por'is for Auckland. Wellington, Lyttelton, Timaru. Melbourne and Sydney. Tho Kaikoura is in Auckland, and will load frozen moat and general cargo there and at Napier lor England.
