At tho _ Australasian Athletic Conference, on the aub-oommittoe’s report upon the proposed programmes lor future Australasian championship meetings, Mr Parkinson (Victoria) moved;— That tho Board of Control take a mail vote, recommending for confirmation by each affiliated association, an alteration in the programme providing for tho abolition of tho one and Miree-milo walks, to be substituted by a two-mile run; the omission of tho hammer throw; that the 410 yards hurdles be over three feet instead ot 3{t Bin obstacles; that discus and javelin throws be added to programme. The resolution was adopted.

The report, of the sub-committee appointed to revise the rules to bring them into lino with the International Olympic Federation, s.nd for tho future conduct of athletic events was adopted.
