There is a groat demand for pond bdtter. and New Zealand, with the reputation of her produce, can command a good price.As there has boon a reduction of cattle in European countries, amounting to millions, it will take years to restore normal production. Even if the Controller does not make a reasonable, offer for next season’s butler New Zealand produce will ho on safe ground, because of the open market. It is expected that the shipping situation will then be easier, and producers may expect, a considerable increase in the price obtained under the existing contract,
