LEARNING BOOTMAKING.

TO THE BDITOK. Sir, —1 wish to correct Mr A. F. Drayton's remarks as in your report of Wednesday night's meeting of the Itepatriation Board. He states that the subsidised workers supposed to be learning boot manufacturing were waxing thread, but this is a mistake. If ho had said cutting out loose threads in the uppers of boots ho would have been more correct.—l am, etc., ONJfi OF THE COTTON CUTTERS.
