PHILLIPSTOWN KINDERGARTEN.
The annual mooting of the Phillipstown Kindergarten " Committee was hold in the school on Alonclav. Tinfollowing officers were elected ;—-President, Airs A ess ; vice-presidents. Aiiss Bradbury and Alesdames Al'Konzie and Glen; secretary, Aiiss Paterson: treasurer, Airs AAilliams; committlee, Alesdames Burn, 1 -ye■ Grummiit, Reeves ami Griffiths; delegate lo association. Mrs MKenzic. Tho sale of cakes, etc., at the official opening of the school, realised £ls 12s 2d. 'The head mistress (Miss Gorrie) reported: Number on roll 61, highest attendance 52. lowest 21. average 17.5. It was decided to have a sale, of goods at the school break-up. Tho treasurer reported that, school subscriptions for the month amounted to £3 9s 2d.
