Gilby’s College Free Educational Training During 1920! Tha proprietor* of GILBY’S COLLEGE have decided upon a plan by which successful competitors will receive free instruction next year. The subjects taught will include:— ' Pitman's Shorthand, Gregg’s Shorthand, Stenotypy (Machine Shorthand), Typewriting, Book-keeping; e and/or Subjects for Secondary Education, Matriculation, Public Service Entrance, or other Public Examinations. Gn Saturday, 13th December, at lOs.m. a Special Examination will be conducted at Gilby’s College, and Free Instruction during 1920 will be given to successful candidates. Entries close noon, 12lii December. . Any Boy or Girl Holding Proficiency or Competency Certificate (or equivalent) May Sit For this Exam. And the subjects to be presented will ha: — ARITHMETIC ENGLISH, Spelling, Grammar and Composition WRITING ’ EXAMINER: MR. GEO. H. SCARSE, B.A. Successful Candidates will be classified as follow; CLASS L-THOSE SECURING HIGHEST MARKS will receive complete instruction (day classes only) in any of the subjects mentioned above, FREE OF COST DURING 1920CLASS lI.—THOSE NEXT IN ORDER OF MERIT will receive complete instruction at 50 PER CENT. REDUCTION IN FEES. CLASS 111.-THOSE NEXT IN ORDER OF MERIT will receive complete instruction at 25 PER CENT. REDUCTON OFF ORDINARY RATES. Send In Your Name for the Examination! Entrance forms maybe obtained from Gilby’s College or upon forwarding stamped and addressed envelope. There are no restrictions save that candidates must hold a Proficiency or Competency Certificate or (equivalent).
