HOSPITAL FETE.
Tlie Hospital grounds am ideal for the kind of outdoor fete which is to take place to-morrow. Ah present the lawns and flower-beds are looking charming, and will make an excellent setting'for the stalls and marquees which will be erected there. The stalls will he iposh attractively arranged, and almost everything one can imagine will he on .sale, and at remarkably low prices. There is to he a stall specially storked with goods suitable for Christmas sn'fts. and another stocked with articles that will appeal to men. Them will he a stall whereat aprons and hags i.n wonderful variety will he sold, and another stall will ho dovoled to household requisites. China, hooks, sweets, cakes, produce, toys, odds and ends, will nil he available. Of course there will he the inev.it.able fortune-toilers, the funny man to' amuse the children, ordinary and extraordinary side-shows, and last, hut not least, afternoon tea. The organiser of the fete is Miss < Wilson, of tlie Hospital Lady Visitor’s’ Association, and the object is to provide a homo for nurses at tbo seaside, where they can rest and “ refresh ” themselves after strenuous nursing. The project is an admirable, one. and one winch should mako a strong appeal to the public-
