CONCERT AT Y.W.C.A.
• 4 The members of the Y.M.C.A. "»vo an entertainment last evening to mombers of tho Ladies' Auxiliary in appreciation of thou assistance in ro-dccor-a ting the building. Tho conceit was contributed by musical friends, including prominent members of concert parties who provided war-time entertainment for soldiers in franco. Those who took pan in the programme were Misses Nellie Smith, Agnes Diehardson. T. Heading. Messrs C (trav S Phillips. B. Clarke, [•’. W. Barker, R. o. Alalouoy nnd 3). J Krujis. The arcoinpa rusts were Miss Lillian Harper ami Mr James Simpson. The. proceedings were opened by Mr A. Aik Beaven. the actum- president, who also thanked tho performers at Urn end of the programme. Mrs Chilton, of the Ladies’ Auxiliary, also spoke a few words expressing appreciation of what had been done for tho members of her committee. Amongst those present were Miami Mrs H. Holland, Dr Sandston, Mr and Mrs Hart, Mrs Eight, Miss Doreen Hichr, Mrs Carer, Mrs Wood and Mrs Taylor.
