Sad facts were revealed at an inquest on Mrs Alma Stea.no, a well-known society beauty and one of the most popular figures in the Most End whirl of pleasure. She divorced her husband and married Steano two months ago. Mrs Steano returned to her sumptuous flat after tho victory ball, and drank cyanide of potassium. She died in her husband's anus. Her Inshand ftald that her apparent gaiety masked a terrible life of* unhappiness, in which the deceased, whoso parents committed suicide, thought that she heard . her mother calling her. A verdict was , returned of suicide while of unsound i mind.
