The death is announced of Mia Wheeler Wilcox, the authoress, at her home in Newhavon, Connecticut. (Ella Wheeler Wilcox was born at Johnstown Centre, Wisconsin, in 1855. Lhe was educated at the University of Wisconsin. _ She became an editorial, writer and contributor to the “New York JourtiaA ” andl the Chicago American.'’ She was the authoress of numerous poems.)
