“POT POURRI.”
The audience at the -Theatre Royal last evening w-as a large one on the occasion of the third presentation of “ Pot Poiirri,” and the programme throughout vrenf with a 'not. able swing. The numerous fine; igect&coln-;. stage pictures, the admirable' solo danceu. 1 and the excellent work of the various TJallets and choruses aroused much enthusiasm. The jazz ballet, “Hollo, Now. York,” led by Miss Hazel Hill and Mr C. A. Rendle, was notably well received Mr Dick.oMoloncj ' and Ml - Syd Phillips again scored successes, Madame Gowor-Burns. Miss: Cecily' Auditor!, Miss Ethel tVyn-WUli'ama, Mr- .and ■- ' Miss, .Cotterili and' Miss Gvryiha ..in their respective items, worthily : merited th<-••'.f full plaudits of the audience. .- The singing of Misa Hope Wood. and chorus, was inspiriting. All the other members of a welH ' - selected company reached a High 'standard' in their contributions. ‘“Pot Pourri,”which : is being given in aid of the objects of the • ' Phmket Society, will be repeated this even- : ing.
