GENERAL ELECTION.
♦ PAHIATUA SEAT, [P*r Press Association,] WOODVILLB, October 22. A meeting .of'the Reform Party was lield last night, Air H. Burnett in tho chair., Mr G. N. Smith, M.P., was in attendance. The following resolution was carried unanimously:—“ That this meeting of the Reform Party supporters is prepared to accept Air A. Al’Nicol as the Reform candidate for the Pahiatua seat at the coming election.” Air. Rioe, of To Rehunga, one of the nominees, as a-Labour candidate, met the members of the Labour Party last night prior to going on to Pahiatua.
