It is understood, that Dr Gilrnth, lately Administrate” of the Northern Territory, Australia, baa made' an exhaustive investigation into, the question of nodules in beef, and evolved a plan by which the difficulties can be overcome, resulting in a great benefit to the Australian meat trade. Dr Gilruth will submit a full report on the subject to the Government on his return to Australia.

It is believed that the British Board of Trade, may possibly be induced to undertake its own inspection of meat in Australia prior to its shipment.
