ACCIDENTS & FATALITIES.
Whilst working at the Woolston Tanneries at about 10.20 this morning, Walter Crossley, who lived at 254, Hereford Street, fell from a height of about five feet on to a concrete floor. He was immediately taken to the.-Hos-pital in the ambulance, but died on the way. Crossley was working at the pit at the time. He went near the edge, and, while lifting some hides, overbalanced himself and fell over on to the concrete floor. He was a married man, fifty-nine years of age, and leaves a widow and a grown-up family.
