PROPOSAL CONDEMNED. By, Telegraph—Frees Association—Copyright, Reuter's Telegrams. (Received September 30, 12.20 p.m.) COLOGNE, September 28. A meeting of British Chamber of Commerce resolved that Colonel Knott’s statements were unauthorised and called on Colonel Knott to resign. The chamber entirely dissociated itself from Colonel Knott’s proposal to establish a commercial clearing house in Berlin.
