MEN STOP WORK. [Per Press Association.] INiTTR.CAP.GILL, September 29. The shed hands in the Bluff wool and grain stores hare demanded an increase from Is 6d to Is lOd per hour, and if necessary a conference to coni side- the position. As the request was not conceded, the men hare nofified the agents that they are not returning to work. There is a quantity of cargo still in the stores for the Waipori. Kumara and Westralia.
