Mr C. W. Hervey Mt Christchurch for Wellington last evening lor the purpose of interviewing + he Minister ot Mines. The North Canterbury Hospital Board, at its meeting to-day, appointed Dr C. T. Hand Newton honorary physician at the hospital and Dr W. Bates honorary radiologist. The Hospital Committee has granted the Hospital Lady Visitors’ Association the use of the hospital grounds on November 29 for. the. purpose of a fete in aid of the fund for a rest cottage for nurses. •
