At Lake Victoria on Saturday the Model Yacht Club sailed off the seventh and eighth heats of tho first race cf the season. Irhe wind was occasionally strong from the southwest. Results:—Seventh heat; Mr Firth’s 0. Mr Huston’s K.N. 2, Mr Bond’s Dorothy 3;_ time—3Gmin. Eighth heat: 0.E.0. 1, K.N. % Dorothy 3; time—Atm in 0.'e.0! takes first prize with 41 points, K.N. second prize with 39 points and Dorothy third prize with 29 points.
