New Zealand, held its final meeting this afternoon. Tho secretary presented a balancesheet, showing that the profits accruing from the meeting were £ISBO. It was decided to -allocate tho profitc as follow: £SO to tho Red Cross Society, for the purpose of providing comforts for the soldiers in Chalmers AVarfi at the Christchurch Hospital. £IOO to tho Soldiers’ Building Fund. Tho balance to bo left in tho hand; of a bub-commitieo, consisting ol Messrs J. 11. AVilliams, A. S. Duncan, G. S. Howell and A. I. Rattray, for the benefit of widows and orphans of soldiers and the depend cuts of wounded soldiers, with a/ recommendation that a sum of £IOO should bo allocated fol providing comforts for tho social welfare) of soldiers at tho Consumptive Sanatorium.
