It was resolved at the Halswell Cbunly Council’s last meeting that the council should object to inclusion in the P r °Posed area for a Metropolitan Board of Works. The view was-taken that no material benefit would .accrue to that nart bf the' county .within - the board’s jurisdiction if it'were set up. •
