LATE SPORTING.

NOTES. R. J. Mason is leaving for Sydney to-da.y. The team lie is taking with him consists of Afterglow, Gloaming, Karo and Rossini. At H-iccarton this morning Yascular was doing work. His less have filled, and he was wearing bandages. Master Strowan and Gang Awa' were, schooled separately once round over the big country. Both jumped well. Master Strowan was sore at the start, hut. he pulled up all right. Most of the other horses were out doing steady pacing.
