(A previous message stated that writs bad been issued on the 11 Daily News” by Messrs Long and Chamberlain and the Geddes brothers for statements relating to their investments in Russian securities. _ Tho " Daily News ” admitted that its statements were without foundation and unreservedly apologised lor its statements, which first appeared m the "Nation.”)
