They remain optimistic, but state that it is the cruellest typo of warfare, accompanied by terrible atrocities. The Bolsheviks Jit inflammable oil in the ears of victims,: hammered nails in the soles of their feet and put swarms of ants in open, wounds- Such were amongst their misdeeds in South Russia, w'here many women and girls were shot defending their honour.
