Tho conveyance by Railway cf supplies for essential industries suck as Dairy Factories, Sawmills, etc.., is necessary to keep the industries going. The conveyance to the markets of the products of essential industries of the Dominion is of vital importance to the whole community, whether producers or consumers. Tons of thousands of workers are dependent for their livelihood on Sawmills, Factories and Manufactories continuing their operations at the present time. It is iuoumbent on you to do your pari in assisting to maintain tha industries and by every means in your power help to obviate unemployment. THEREFORE STAY AT HOME AND MAKE ROOM ON TRAINS FOR THE CARRIAGE OP ESSENTIAL GOODS. From and after FRIDAY, first AUGUST, XM9, every person desirous of travelling rail beyond the limits ot the suburban area will require to satisfy the Railway Cfacer that the journey is imperative, and being undertaken for essential business purposes, the bona fid-e? of which the Railway Officer shall determine. No person will bo booked or permitted to join any Train fer travel beyond the suburan area unless and until the Railway authorities aro satisfied as io the bona fidcs of the circumstances and that the journey is necessary. Single Tickets only will be issued. No Ticket will be issued within 15 minutes of the time of departure of | tho Train. No person except Passengers who arc in possession of Tickets will be pernutte I to enter on tho platform. The number ot carriages to bo run on any Train will bo. strictly limited. Persons who desire totravel are recommended to apply to tho Railway authority the day before that ou winch they propose to make tha journey. Tickets will in all cases ho issued subject to there being room on the Train, No undertaking implied or otherwise can bo given to carry any Passenger by any particular Train on any particular date. Passengers who are unable to travel on any one day will, as far as possible, be taken in turn on subsequent dates, but no guarantee can bo given as to tho interval that may necessarily elapse before the accommodation- can be provided. Any persons who purchase Tickets for journeys which they are unable to undertake owing to lack of Train accommodation may obtain a refund of their Pare on presenting the Ticket to tho Office of issue.
