NEW VERSES SUBSTITUTED,
LONDON, July 4.
In the Thanksgiving Services of July 6 and 7. with the consent of His Majesty the King, the following verses will ho substituted for the second and third verses of the National Anthem: One realm of races four, Blest more and ever more, God save our land ! Home of the brave and free, Set in the silver sea. True nurse of chivalry, God save our laudl Kinsfolk in love and birth, From utmost ends of earth, God save us all I Bid strife and hatred cease, Bid hope and joy increase, Spread universal peace, God. save ns all!
