FOOD VALUE OF NEW ZEALAND, i FISHES.

Professor ‘Malcolm would take up research into the food value * of New Zealand fishes. Mr Thomson,. ‘?.5 in speaking of the economic value of whale feed, mentined incidentally that whale feed, which was usually abund- zip ant, disappeared from these waters from January 1 to the .middle of Novem-- j-r' her last year, and disappeared again---'-this year in March and had not been seen since, the suggestion being that , ■ these disappearances were connected'',' with fish migration, and consequently with the fish supply generally. . ..
