WINTER SHOW.
* KEEN COMPETITION[Pxr P*r.a« Association.] PALMERSTON NORTH, Juno 18. The weather was fine for the second day of the Winter Show and there was n largo attendance. There was a very line show of stud cattle, various parts of the Dominion being represented, and competition was keen. The judging will lake all day. In the apple championship, Bisley Bros. (Nelson) was first and third and J. Cushing (West Clive) second. In champion cooking apples, Cushing was first and Bisley Bros, second.
